I rented an apartment in Fiesole, just outside Florence, together with my friends Jack, Paul, Norbert and Tobi. The apartment (with swimming pool) was located on a hill and when the morning dust disappeared we had an amazing view on the Florence valley.
Fiesole was a perfect base for exploring Tuscany and making trips to Florence, Siena, Lucca with their beautiful churches and squares. Of course we visited the leaning tower of Pisa before we headed to Viareggio to spend a day on the beach.

My sister Angelique and I went to Rome for a couple of days. I enjoyed to have some quality-time with her, drinking Italian wines and exploring the city. Rome is like an open air museum.
