Almost 6 months in Asia have come to an end. Two last nights in Kuala Lumpur give me some time for shopping in Petaling street and to say goodbye to some South-East Asian things. One more chat with a Buddhist monk and a last look at the stinky durian fruits further and I was ready to go home! I had the best months of my life so far while backpacking. I am thankful for the experiences and hungry for the next ones!
I quitted my job for my first long-term travel adventure. Six months in South-East Asia started in the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. I stayed in Chinatown and did some sightseeing in the city. The Petronas-towers and the KL-tower can be seen from a distance, I used them as a marking point to know my directions in neighbourhoods like Little India and Chinatown.
I took a bus to the Batu caves and enjoyed watching all the monkeys at this Hinduism temple site.
