Hi! I am Peter. Since the travel bug bit me in 2007 I am trying to combine working in the Netherlands with travelling the world. As a business project manager I am experienced in several industries. As a traveller I have travelled with friends and with groups, but most of the time I  just booked myself a ticket, packed my backpack and started to explore the countries on my own.

Seeing places and meeting people is what travelling is all about for me. I love to learn from other cultures and share experiences with others.

Why DutchBudha? When I was travelling in Southern Africa I got nicknamed DutchBudha by a tour guide. Every morning he greeted me with "Good morning DutchBudha!" believing that it brought good luck to our travelling. I like the positive thought of this nickname and I like to keep it alive on this travel blog.
