Asia
Asia is the largest continent on earth covering about 9 percent of the earth’s surface. With 48 countries, it is also the most populated continent on earth, home to an estimated population of around 4.3 billion people. South-west Asia is also called The Middle East (see for countries in this area the Middle East section of this website).
