This summer Joost and I went on a trip to Istanbul for five days. This city is located partly on the European continent and partly on the Asian continent and has the Bosporus river in between. We visited the city during the feasting period of the Muslim people. It was great to see the Ramadan festivities in the evenings in front of the mosques and in the parks where all people gathered to have their meals after sunset.
The city is big enough and we kept ourselves busy all days. Amazing views we had from the Galata tower and we relaxed at the Prince's Island of Büyükada and during a Bosporus boattrip. One of the evenings we met up with my Dutch roommate Beau and her boyfriend Jorden for diner and drinks. Istanbul is happening!

I went for a week of beachtime and partying to Turkye with a Dutch group of solo travellers. We stayed in a hotel at the beach in Gümbet. The schedule was pretty similar every day. In the night we went to Bodrum to party on a boat or in the biggest open air disco Halikarnas. On daytime we recovered from hangovers at the beach or on a boat.
