Ko Lanta felt like a relief to Daniel and me after staying two nights on Ko Phi Phi. The island of Ko Lanta is a little bigger and way less tourists are on it. We stayed in the bay of Ao Kantiang and enjoyed beachlife. We went around the island by motorbikes. This is a paradise! After a week on the Thai islands, I said Daniel goodbye to head further north, while he returned to Malaysia.

It took my German friend Daniel and me a whole day to get from Georgetown (Malaysia) to the Phi Phi islands in Thailand. At arrival we checked in at a hostel in Phi Phi Don village. This main village on the island is packed with tourists. When we went on a boat trip next day, we definitely weren't the only ones on the water to see the beautiful islands and beaches around.

Despite the beautiful scenery Ko Phi Phi felt a bit like a big tourist trap and we decided to take a boat to Ko Lanta
