In only a few hours from Singapore I arrived at the coast in Mersing. I stayed overnight and took the first ferry to the island Pulau Tioman (50km offshore). I crossed the island from the touristic west-coast to the remoted east-coast and got my own bungalow hut at the beach. Despite the sand-flees I had five great days and nights on the beach.
